		<description>Chuck, &#160;I ran out of time this year and that project did not get finished. &#160;Right now the absorber plate is leaning against my house surrouned by 18 inches of snow! &#160;As soon as I can get to it, I&#039;ll finish it off and post about it. &#160;Sorry for the delay.&lt;br&gt;</description>

With your alum. can heat collectors,  would it be a good idea to try to run thin black plastic pipe, carrying the water to be heated, transversely through and between the aluminum cans to pick up the collected heat directly from the cans?  Then use a black absorptive background below cans to increase heat retention.  Can&#039;t tell yet how you have designed your system....
