I am glad the basement is not flooding. It was just depressing to go down there and see water all over the place. Now I need to get the backup solar system installed so the pumps will stay running when the power goes out. Little by little, we are making headway.

The weather has officially squashed an entire months worth of having fun outside. June typically kicks things off for me because its the end of pollen so I don't die when I go outside.

I just can't believe we're around 250% over the normal for the month and its supposed to keep raining for the next week. I just hope it clears for a bit Saturday night so we can light some fireworks.

Well it's a good sign your basement isn't flooding. Means you took appropriate measures. On a side note...I have a friend stranded in Boston right now cause of a bad storm.
