It is September. For the love of Pete, please stop growing. In past years, by the middle of August or so, you had taken on a slightly brownish tinge and no longer required weekly attention. Not this year. You just continue to grow and grow. On my way out to the car this morning, I noticed that you are getting long and shaggy again.
Sigh.

I wish I could say the same for our lawn. It has been a long summer of pretty drab looking grass….I guess I shouldn’t expect more for a year old lawn.
Quit your crying.I completely understand your plight.First of all, the lawn does not read this blog, so your message is virtually lost.You must be terribly frustrated by the endless, repetitive, mind numbing task of mowing your entire lawn with a walk behind.Second of all, even if the lawn could read this blog, it couldn’t stop growing if it wanted to. That’s like telling a teenage boy to stop growing. It’s nonsense.The reason your lawn is growing more this year is because
your neighbor is spreading nitrogen all over it at night to get you back for all the noise you made when you dug the trench for your well pipe.you have an exceptional green thumb! You are so talented, you could grow orchids in the desert.May your lawn be long and shaggy forever!!! (like a hippy)
