Thanks Jennifer, lots of people have commented on this fence. Basically, it cost me nothing except the sweat to install it. The posts and cross members are all black locust, which I seemingly have an endless supply of. The wire fence came from a friend of mine who didn't need it any more.

Todd, I have always enjoyed fresh vegetables from the garden. There is nothing like walking out and picking a nice ripe tomato off of the vine and putting it in a sandwich or something. Plus, I know the tomatoes that grow in my garden don't have Salmonella which these days, seems to be an important detail.

Paul,

NICE garden! I'm very jealous. We were going to put one in this year until I had my health issue. That fence would work great to keep the deer away. Maybe next summer!

I must say your fence is rather attractive for a vegetable garden!
