Accordingly, I am: ESTJ – The Guardians
The organizing and efficient type. They are especially attuned to setting goals and managing available resources to get the job done. Once they´ve made up their mind on something, it can be quite difficult to convince otherwise. They listen to hard facts and can have a hard time accepting new or innovative ways of doing things.
The Guardians are often happy working in highly structured work environments where everyone knows the rules of the job. They respect authority and are loyal team players.
Sounds about right, except for the new and innovative way part. I think I embrace innovation and change. Perhaps I am wrong about myself. Here is a nifty chart that demonstrates my typical brain use:

I see you found the MBTI tester named for the Myers-Brigg Type Indicator. This is a good test and preference to know if you want apply for corporate employment. My last two classes have been in deep with the Jung personality research and the follow on Myers-Briggs studies. It even goes all the way to what type may experience public speaking anxiety.

What is interesting is when I take the test myself, I usually test as an ENTP, but apparently that is not reflected in my writing, although I suppose my writing in this blog is for a fairly small target (home improvement), vs what I might write in a personal blog, which would be broader in scope. Anyway, it was fun.
What is interesting is my other blog comes out as an ENTJ.
It was fun to try, but it didn’t get my actual personality type on any of my blogs. I am skeptical of any program being able to “type” you in 3 seconds… I suspect it just looks at post length and frequency, maybe a couple other factors. I tried my handful of blogs and those of several other folks I know and kept seeing the same three or four types come up.
I’m an INTJ–maybe we’re not supposed to be blogging. :P
